The concept of "mystery" is important scientifically, as the writings of Albert Einstein make clear. It's also important religiously. Although there are some differences between their approaches, both science and religion think of mystery as something vast or unfathomable, which is difficult to represent theoretically. This presentation explores these approaches, and reflects on the significance of this idea.
